So I went over to my lady’s dorm for Halloween last weekend. I was Captain America Friday night and Bane Saturday night. Sunday night was stress-filled since I was going home :/…Monday was supposed to be another wonderful day at Albany since the buses weren’t running due to Hurricane Sandy, so I was happy when I woke up. My step-dad ruined that. He was a hero and drove two hours in the fucking storm just to pick me up…
Then Sandy fucked me. I lost power at about 8pm and it didn’t get it back until this afternoon. Monday-Friday. I have trouble sleeping at night as it is. Add boredom, darkness, and the piercing cold, and you’ve got a dangerously depressed Steven. I HATED EVERYTHING. It drove me insane. I sent mean shit to my gf. I didn’t eat. I stopped taking care of myself. I would just think horrible thoughts.
Fuck you Sandy.
Now the power is back. I got my fix of GW2. Played about 3hrs. Read some comics. Enjoyed the warmth of my home.
My iPhone really saved me those few days of darkness. I made an instagram lol…idk how you guys would follow me (I’m a n00b).
Missed you guys. Night.

I’ve been doing well these past two days in NY.
Yesterday I played Heroes of Newerth all morning/afternoon with the broski.

Then my lady came over and we played Super Smash Bros Melee and Marvel Ultimate Alliance II with my brother and sister.

Then we topped the day off with Dark Knight Rises (Idk wtf happened…I was kinda distracted)

I haven’t written anything in a while. So sorry about that.
This is gonna be a list of superheroes that I don’t hate or love, but respect nonetheless. Some superheroes are needed in their universe, for better or for worst. This list will be in random order. Oh and I understand that you guys will love some of the characters that I list, so keep in mind that this is my list and that I don’t wanna hear bitching. You can speak to me kindly though ^.^
Captain America:

Captain America to me is a leader and a symbol. Several of Marvel’s finest like The Punisher idolized Cap. He’s the prototype superhero and remains steadfast and immovable in all situations. Prototype heroes and villains are needed to maintain balance in a chaotic world. He is a natural leader. He has lead the Avengers countless times, and even became a leader during the Civil War (of superheroes).
Lastly, Captain America’s influence in his world is unquestionable. Lots of superheroes try to emulate him. Bucky, U.S. Agent, etc. After his death, the Marvel universe was hit hard.
Captain America’s powers aren’t too awesome. His character isn’t captivating like Deadpool or Jackie Estacado. He isn’t unbeatable. But he’s necessary.
Thor:

Thor is a god. He introduces a whole other world, a world occupied by Asgardians. We have mutants, experiments, skilled men, and because of Thor we have gods as well. I think it’s a neat addition to the universe.
I love how besting a god in battle is now an actual measurement of how bad-ass a superhero is because of the introduction of gods. Hulk would rip Thor. Hulk could murder a GOD. That’s a lot more revealing than “Watch out for Hulk, he beat up Captain America.” No, he bested a god.
Thor comics to me were always boring. He’s arrogant which is fun I suppose, and he has his own agenda. His powers and abilities were always exciting to me; they look really neat in the comics. But yeah I feel he is necessary because he introduces us to a new race of superheroes.
The Hulk:

Haha this is starting to look like the whole Avengers team. The Hulk is one of my favorite examples of a character that I don’t fancy but respect. He has no limit to his strength. He becomes irrational. He is chaos.
We need a Hulk. He’s the scariest, meanest hero in the Marvel Universe. You get major bragging rights if you beat him in a fight.
The reason I respect him is the same reason I’m not too fond of him. He’s too powerful. Overpowered characters are a turnoff for me.
Ant-Man:

Hank Pym is a genius. He discovered Pym particles and created Ultron (his greatest regret). You know what, I do like Ant-Man, f#ck it never mind.
Mr. Fantastic:

This dude’s superpowers are a strong 8 on my Lame-Scale. That being said, he is arguably the smartest man in the Marvel Universe. His brain is valued about 10000000000000000000000000 times more than his stretchiness. I did the maths.
Mr. Fantastic is also a pro at fighting big-ass monsters with the team he leads, The Fantastic 4. I never liked him, but his smarts are needed, no doubt.
The Sentry:

This hero is soooooooo close to being hated by me. If I thought the Hulk was overpowered, The Sentry is something gayer. He can alter molecules…WHAT A F#CKING DOUCHEY POWER. He can resurrect…WHAT THE FLOPPY DICKS?
So close…soooo close. He is saved by one thing. Something that is key to his character. He is a nut-job that suffers from many disorders, one being multiple personality disorder. He is the Sentry when he’s good, and the Void when he’s real bad. The sentry also thinks very little of himself. This is what Norman Osborn exploited when he recruited The Sentry to the Dark Averngers.
So yeah, to me The Sentry shows us all that powers aren’t everything. He has the potential to be the sh#ttiest, stupidest hero ever created but is saved by his instability.
Plastic Man:

Not another stretchy man… Plastic Man is a jerk to say the least. To me he shows us all that criminals can be reformed without losing any personality.
Captain Marvel:

Little Billy is Captain Marvel. I love the whole concept of his character, I just don’t love the character himself.
Adults look at things a lot differently than kids do. This makes Captain Marvel especially valuable because he thinks differently than everyone else on the Justice League. He is also youthfully optimistic. Another thing he is valued for.
He’s just adorable.
Dr. Manhattan’s Penis:

Dr. Manhattan’s penis is a force to be reckoned with. ‘Nuff said.
The Flash:

…
Never mind I do hate him.

Okay so there are probably a bunch of others…but yeah here’s my list. Hope ya read it and at least see where I’m coming from with them. I doubt ANY of you will agree with me 100%. That wasn’t my goal. Anyways, thanks for reading.
